The first time I've been out with my camera for some considerable time in any seriousness! And, that's why I haven't posted 'cos I don't have any material that I really want to share with you guys.
But tonight, with the wind blowing hard, the light appearing for seconds at a time and then disappearing for much longer, I thought that it would be worth getting out and seeing what I could achieve.
This is the old bridge in Chepstow that links Wales and England, and that beautiful Georgian house on the opposite bank is for sale. Now, with a view of Chepstow Castle which is to the left of the image, you have to say that it's a bit of a desireable residence!!!

If you do get past the thumbnail, please accept my gratitude!!!!

David

A fine view of the bridge at Chepstow looking across to Sedbury and Gloucestershire. Excellent composition and light

Lovely old bridge and some great shadows thrown on the water. Well worth sharing with us.

Well Dave, m8, that's a wonderful shot wit which to return! Excellent sense of depth and rich saturated colour within a superb composition. Cracking!

The bridge makes a great lead-in, like it's reflection too. That's a lovely sky & yes reckon I'd be interested if it has a view of the castle Wink
