First sight of Llyn Idwal after climbing up to the ridge somewhat later than the main group. It was worth the trek off the main path to experience the grandeur and the wonderful fresh air.

Its hard to imagine the scale of this place but I think you have captured part of it at least. The other part is behind you so its not your fault.

Love the rocks that lead you into the image Tel.

Superb image taken under nightmare conditions - how you managed to get up there in that wind I will never know - but it was obviously well worth it

Seeing this image, I can understand why you climbed up here, and it wasn't only for the fresh air.

Very nice Tel*

It's a rugged spot, even if it is only a few feet off the main track Wink

Thanks Dennis, Johanna & Pete.

The trek up to that spot was well off the main track Pete, though it was close when we got to the top. We had soggy boots to prove it Wink
