Cracking ariel shot Sylvia with great detail, not sure what it is about planes but there seems to be a slight halo visble especially when viewed large, just wondering, did you use shadows/highlights because that sometimes creates that effect,
Geoff.

Superb shot Sylvia. Shutter speed spot on to show some movement from the props and avoids the impression of the plane hanging in mid air.

I personally think Geoff has halo's on his mind. Loked hard and cannot see any. This effect is caused on anything where dark is set against a light blue sky.
Fabulous capture ad so good to see motio blur in the props giving that extra sense of movemnt. Great angle and detail Sylvia

A great shot - nice to see it still flying - I took a shot of this in June 2008 - the wife loved it as her name is Sally Bryant

I think Geoff's is a fair comment, there is a substantial margin of sky around the aircraft that is lighter than the rest of the blue around it.
However, it's otherwise an excellent shot with the light coming in at just the right angle, and the attention to detail (ie. shutter speeds) has paid off.

There is a slight halo but I don't think it's a big issue in this case. Excellent shot.
