The Red Arrows taken at Farnborough last Friday. Mainly overcast skies with very few intervals of blue sky. I have used a touch of HDR toning in CS5 to tweak the colours and boost the effects a little. This image is full frame with no cropping. Best viewed large if you have a moment to spare.
Settings: F/5.6 1/2000sec ISO250 AV@420mm handheld
Many thanks for your C&Cs on my last upload and a special thank you to Graham_P and Maratsuikka for the super mods - they are both really great ![]()

I always admire those who manage to capture such fast moving objects so crisply and you have done an excellent job here, Sylvia. To get the planes with the smoke trails behind and have the line of the planes on the cross diagonal with the smoke trails is so good. Very good photography....I am quite jealous!!
Ronnie.
Fabulous Sylvia... great comp, I didn't manage this shot yesterday
Jon
Have to say the smoke trails look rather like an Aliens hand outstretched with 5 claws and for me the whloe effect is wonderful Sylvia, classy shot,
Geoff.
