Just a female House Sparrow (Passer domesticus), taken in the garden today. Plenty of twittering up in the trees and all around, but nothing more exciting than Sparrows, Blue tits and Robins!
Many thanks for your C&Cs on my last upload - really appreciated as always Smile Haven't had much time lately, but hope to catch up with you all next week.

good shot Sylvia, lots of twitterings here to but when I set up my hide all that came down were rooks, jackdaws and magpies apart from the odd robin and blackbird

They are becoming quite rare now so it's always a pleasure to see one these days. Love the composition and the willow perch is super.

A lovely capture Sylvia - a nice hint of pollen on the beak. Looks good on the branch. These are declining - flagged up Red by the RSPB but we are lucky to have them in the garden too. A flock of 20+ at the last Garden Birdwatch survey.
Brian.
