I had a go at trying to get some action shots whilst playing with our GSD, Hannah, yesterday. Kept the shutter speed quite fast, 1/600sec, so I haven't really caught any blurred movement effects.
Have uploaded some variants - hope you like them.

v1 is best for me.

I think you just need to add a bit more contrast though.

I've done a small mod just altering it.

Thanks everybody for your kind comments and a special thank you to Dale for the mod - the increased contrast does give more impact Smile Hannah is a lovely sweet-natured dog and is totally fixated on retrieving her ball - you could throw it for her 24/7 !!
