This is a full frame macro capture of the centre of a double white clematis flower in the garden.
Settings: F/5.6 1/4000sec EV -2 ISO 100 AV@100mm handheld

And very pretty it is too, Sylvia. I do not remember ever seeing a pure white clematis like this.....but you have captured this specimen so well with lovely detail.

I am not a gardener Sylvia so I hardly feel qualified to comment on this but I know I can say that this is a beautifully exposed and presented shot. Being all of that light colour is a real challenge.

When I look on here and see snap flowers getting high votes it really gets the blood boiling to see a very well exposed and sharply detailed one, with thought to composition and presentation getting low votes
Keep plugging away Sylvia this is first class and envious of the IS on the Macro
