My Giant Chinese Praying Mantis (Tenodera aridifolia sinensis) escaped and flew into the bedroom, landing on the bedspread. A very unscientifically set up full frame "grab shot" which I felt really did this fascinating creature justice He is very tame and loves sitting on your hand or head!
Pros: Easy to keep, no vets bills
Cons: Short lifespan(8-12months), catching live prey as opposed to home cultured fruit flies!
My thanks for your C&Cs on my last image - always very much appreciated
