Once again the birds in our garden were frantically feeding to keep warm in the bitterly cold weather. With the snow still lying and gorgeously bright light I managed to get a lot of pictures today from my car hide Smile I was particularly pleased with these 2 pics as no tweaking was needed in PS - apart from cropping and framing they are exactly as the camera took them. Couldn't decide which I liked best so have uploaded both.
Still practising with manual settings, handheld, this time with the 1.4x converter on an F4L IS 300mm lens.
Settings:- F5.6 1/640sec ISO 200 420mm

V2 is by far the better of the two IMO but both good shots I think V2 could get a prize (again my opinion)

I love these little coal tits and both these are excellent shots. I love their little trousers. You've captured some lovely detail and your exposure looks good. #2 but just for the pose.
