An action capture of a Robin (Erithacus rubecula) guarding his patch against an influx of raiders yesterday. I was focusing on the Robin, who was in attack mode, when the oof Blue Tit flashed past. Robins are very confrontational in this cold weather, guarding their areas very aggressively.

Many thanks for your support of my last upload with a special THANK YOU to David (Craggwildlife) - very much appreciated and valued Smile

Its a pretty foolish Blue Tit/ Great Tit that strays anywhere near a Robins patch Sylvia. They are ferocious little devils. This is a wonderful capture.

Have a RC on me SylviaSmile

Strangely enough, my new Robin at the woods, is still very shy.

I guess Mum and Dad have passed on - haven't seen the one with the elongated maxilla at allSad

You've captured the moment perfectly Sylvia, that resident robin of yours looks like a feisty little customer who doesn't suffer fools!
