....this thieving Grey Squirrel (Sciurus carolinensis) had his eye on the bird feeders and was hoping I hadn't seen him. A full frame capture, experimenting with a 2x Mk iii TC, lent to me by a friend, using my Canon 300mm F2.8 LIS Mk ll lens. The background is our Japanese Acer shrub which is just beginning to show spring colour.
