Yet another wild Male Red Grouse (Lagopus lagopus) I'm afraid. This is a very large crop as my subject was 31.6m away. Just loved the colours of the surrounding moorland habitat. Taken in the moorland surrounding Lochindorb, near Grant Town on Spey, Cairngorms National Park.

My thanks to you all for your C&Cs on my last upload, with a special thank you to Papa(Papathanassiou), Zoran(Bzox), Al(almiles) and Lillian (Lillian) for their User Awards all very much appreciated and valued Smile

Exceptional composition here Sylvia, unfortunate we can only User Awards to one image everyday otherwise this would have had mine, but Ian's Owl beat you to it.....But only just! Sad

Super shot Sylvia. It's all about the grouse and the colour, with fg and bg beautifully blurred.

Phil.
