The Bristol Boxkite(top) and Avro Triplane(below) taken at an Evening Flying Display at the Shuttleworth Collection, Old Warden last Saturday. These aircraft featured in the film "Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines". We were lucky to have a calm, warm, sunny evening with not a breath of wind, otherwise these aircraft would not have been able to fly, as they are so delicate. Fabulous evening and highly recommended.
This is a full frame capture and I was trying out the Canon 2x Mk iii TC with this lens for the first time. Autofocus exceeded my expectations with this combination.
My thanks to you all for your C&Cs on my last upload and a special thank you to Richard(MossyOak), Ade(Ade_Osman) and Ed(Glostopcat) for their User Awards - really appreciated
