A full frame capture of a pair of mating Toads (Bufo bufo) taken during our visit to the Scottish Highlands last week. The female can carry the male on her back for several days during the mating process. They seem to be displaying unbridled passion!

Many thanks for your support of my last upload - very much appreciated Smile

Why isn't this labelled as "Adult" Sylvia? Blush Excellent capture of a moment in a potentially passionate marathon!

We had a mass of frogs several weeks ago in our stream, now alive with early stage tadpoles, and I was delighted to see toad 'strings of eggs' at the weekend. They have certainly been active, but mostly in the evening - you were lucky to get that stunning light and detail. Well captured.
