Yesterday was the beginning of the end for our Nursery SadSadSad
We have been needing it to be pulled down for years, and finally the Local Authority have deemed it necessary.
So, the children broke up a week early. Now everything can be moved out before the demolishing begins. This will start on Friday once the rest of the school has broken up.
The opportunity for random photos has already begun SmileSmileSmile
The main thing in all the mess is to keep our eyes on the fact that after all the mess comes a new Nursery SmileSmileSmile

Many thanks to Andy for his User Award yesterday

and also to Carol, Jenn and Lin for their User Awards for Thrift 2 all very much appreciated SmileSmileSmile

Thanks for looking

Helen

Original, clever and processed to perfection, Helen. Wonderful light, colours and textures. The thumbnail really jumps out at you and rivets your attention.

My initial thought too, Brian. In fact from the thumbnail it appeared to be the reflection of Mickey Mouse in a pond with the chair leg uprights looking like reed stems Grin. Brilliant work.

What you have done with this simple image is amazing....and magical.
Sad to see it being demolished, hopefully the new one will be as wonderful.

Love what you've done with the ball, Helen. Amazing Grin

On the one hand, there's gonna be the new nursery. On the other, it's sad to see one demolished which has had a lot of memories for a lot of people.

You certainly have an eye for images and making them into interesting creations, Helen Wink I can imagine you'll be doing a mrswoolybill and recording the event of the demolition and re-building Smile
