Took this today while returning from Bowness on Windemere in the Lake Distict
We were travelling through Kirkstone Pass heading back to Newcastle spotted this view so pulled in to a car park...5 minutes later we had torrential rain and hail.

The lighting in the background is nicely captured. No Ashness bridge today?

Superb lighting! Think I would have cloned out the sign, but hey that's just opinion.
Well done.

Lovley view

A stunning atmosphere and love the light in the valley. I might have been tempted to try and clone out that road sign.

That pool of light is just perfect! Might have cloned out the road sign ;o)- but what a view, with or without it!

Fabulous shot like the light in the valley travelled that very same road just last week I didn't have the sense to stop as you did well taken Terry.

Sign thank heavens it's there 20% it's steep.

Regards Ian.

Ohhhhh!!!! What a splendid image---It is the golden area way back in the valley that I like the best---and yes---looks like you are going to be rained on!

Awesome landscape, great light.

Chris.

This is a real stunner of a shot.

One for the wall,...

Wonderful areas of sunlight down on Brothers Water. This is the kind of light I find very attractive in pictures, elusive to catch but worth more than gold!

Simon.

What a beautiful picture.

Smile)
