Great shot with great detail. Maybe try and close in a little more so that only the water splash is in the frame. There is some flash light within the water, Try bouncing the flash off a surface to make it softer. Well Done

Nice colours in this shot. It would have looked better if you got the whole flower in. Try using an aperture of F/8 to F/13 to try and get more of the flower in sharp focus. For the black background use the clone tool in an image editor to get rid of the patchy area to the right of the stem.

This is a great idea for what could be a superb image. Well done its still a great image.
