A looking back through my files of 2009, when I spent a couple of weeks in Cornwall, I found this shot of a Buzzard. Photographed during a walk along the canal at Bude, the bird flew low overhead, allowing me an excellent view as it turned away from the sun.
I have edited very little other than a modest crop and a tweak to sharpness. Some of you might find the blue-sky background rather bland but I believe it helps to showcase the Buzzard's stunning plumage.
