A view of the cliffs at Portknockie, Moray, towards "Bird sh*t Rock". Any ideas why it's called that?

Lovely shot. and I normally don't go for the smooth water-long exposure stuff. Did you get one of the Bowfiddle rock?
My ex's Dad was from Portknockie. (RIP Tom.)

Thanks for your comments.
Jon, I do have some of Bowfiddle rock but I prefer this scene. I love the luminesence of "Bird sh*t rock" despite how it gets its colour.

A real cracker. Both the water and the rock shimmer in the light.

I think this is a cracking image. Only thing is the curved horizon. Still a cracker.

OOh I remember this TG. That was one surprisingly good morning from quite an improbably poor start. Great colour rendition. Very nice processing too.

i like the limited colour pallete from silvery grey to purple and the shapes within the composition are interesting too, its a slight shame about the way the suns highlight is pulling the eye to the rh edge but its a lovely shot non the less.
