Taken yesterday morning at the local botanical gardens I saw this juvenile mantis sitting on the underside of the day lilly leaf with some gentle coaxing I got the mantis to walk on the upperside of the leaf, it did not like it much maybe because he stood out on the petals, it did not stay long put long enough for me to take a few shots
