Well, this is the first time I have seen my Kingfishers since last June. Excited or whatÖ. I put up a perch for them weeks ago, but it seems they donít like that and prefer to use their own! I donít have a hide so I use a Ghillie Suit, I was focused on the perch I put up and could hear them to my right, I gently moved my head to see the male feeding the female and then proceed to mount her (not caught on camera, b***er) I very slowly moved camera and my body and was lucky enough to get lots of pictures. Not a great background I know, but natural. I'm now looking forward to the next time.
