well captured love the colour s on the wings, was this in your garden? only birds i get are sparrows and ringneck doves since we got a new dog,nice shot patman

needs tighter cropping at the bottom I believe - perhaps even all round

That's a lovely image Dave.... great detail and DOF, love the catch light in the eye... maybe I would have done a tighter crop, taking out the trunk on the right to centralise the beaks??

THey are really greedy little things aren't they! I had a garden full and all they did was trundle around after the parents waiting for them to find the food before wading in to grab it.

Nice shot. I tend to agree about the crop, but it's not a big deal.
