This is a genuine roadsign that warns motorists to beware of Toad crossing the road. They do so in their hundreds as they relocate from the lake into the bogs of the nearby woods, then do the return journey later in the year.

Thanks Carol and Jen for your kind comments, my mission is to catch the toads en masse crossing the road. I don't think I have a hope in hel, lol.

The only toad I ever heard of loved to drive fast cars; his eyes glazed over and he kept repeating "poop, poop!" So I shall drive extra-carefully when I visit Llandrindod Wells and take care to obey this road sign - thanks for bringing it to my attention so graphically
