Taken at dawn on the beach at Sandsend near Whitby in North Yorkshire. This has become one of my most viewed shots ever on my Flickr photostream. The sunrise was not the most striking and I didn't think I'd got any shots of much worth but this was a pleasant surprise!

A good capture that works well, it may not have been as good with a lesser exposure. Nice shot.
