This is Ravn, of Norwegian Black Metal band, 1349, performing at The Corporation in Sheffield ages ago.
This remains one of my favourite snaps, purely because the only lights not behind the performers were two strobe lights, set to go off constantly at fit-inducing speed!
I thought I'd stick this up to see how a portrait format image works wiht the new large uploads.

Well timed (or should that be lucky?
) to catch the moment when the strobe fired. & to catch the synchronised hair flings too.
Looking at the rest of your portfolio... I think Davey was wrong and no luck involved.!!
Fantastic portfolio.............. band photography doesn't get much recognition on here, as can be told by the amount of votes for this.
...I think people perhaps don;lt realise how muich skill is required for this genre............ more so than any other in the photographic field I think.
