Joey Tempest of Europe performs at Bloodstock Open Air Festival a good while ago.
Thought I'd have another go at sticking a large image up to see if I can get it right this time.

You're definitely going through your BOA archives now!
This one looks like you're up in front of the stage at his height, and not down below in the Press Pit. Given the insight to the exif data, I'm guessing you were within the crowd a few metres back?
Great shot though. The smoke gives the impression of him being alone on stage.

I take a JML blue step type thing to festivals to raise me up a few inches so I'm not shooting all my shots right up the performer's nose 
Bloodstock's my favourite UK festival, so when I'm randomly looking through images I tend to gravitate to them 
When he had a permed mullet, yes I think he was blonde back then
