the White Rose boat moored at the mouth of the Thames Estuary Shoeburyness.
pretty featureless sunrise but tried to make the most of the chain sweep.....
f13 8secs ND grad, curve tweaks in PSCS3
Lovely comp and light. Would be interesting to see if it works better without the small boat?

love that chain snaking in ,well spotted and taken
You didn't need a glorious sunrise Kevin, I think the mood makes the shot. Great capture.
Agree with Charlotte it's a upper image no glorious sunrise needed
Excellent use of the chain in the composition
Great with the chaincurve
Classic shot from down there Kevin and great use of the wide angle. Hope all's well
I love this shot
composed and wonderful light.
Simple comp, but highly effective.
Superb work. (Agree about the RH Boat)
Thanks for all the comments and clicks, much appreciated. I thought the right hand boat gave the image balance, I don't have a shot of this boat on its own.... Will revisit at some point over the next couple of months
Thanks once again.
A balanced composition Kevin.
