well I had to learn some fresh skills after the last one!
thank you for all the awards and all.. really pleased but its pushed my stakes a bit higher now!
Hope you like this one then (thanks for the tips)
dunno if I got this PP right, but I added a white layer behind and brushed out, there is a shadow but its perhaps a bit too subtle ....soft and dewy I thought ?
mods and crits welcomed

A stark change... and brave!
I admire how you throw yourself to the wolves to learn!
For me just a tad too subtle and my eye would be more comfortable with the whole image flipped horizontally... but I am only one!
Still gets my click ![]()
We communicate with our left sides... so Im told!
thank you
but it looks so different on the mac where I done the work, the shadow is much more evident than on this PC ....looks very white on here !
well I'm a right brainer lol .... can I flip it in Pshop then? or do you mean shot like that ..(too late now) !
I got myself confused Di... lol
Next time your in a deep conversation, face to face, observe!
See if you agree.
Yes you can flip it in photoshop... Ill post a mod... just my thoughts
As for the changes from original to uploaded... I suffer that everytime I create on the laptop... frustrating!
Posh git with a Mac
... I miss them!
Well we have opened a can for discussion
Lets see what others think ![]()
And V1 for me Ty... she is looking past me, no eye contact... lol
We certainly know how to confuse a girl...lol
Ah yes that left/right thing... I do like the flipped version, and the enhanced shadow in the Mod works for me because of the strong angle in the shadow. She's looking forward but the shadow is tugging her away.
Moira
you are nailing these, shadow maybe soft but i dont think it matters too much
Dave
I am actually semi-ambidextrous (not kidding...I write with my right hand, but can't play football with my right foot...very, very left footed....), so either image looks fine to me! The shadow on the mod makes her stand out much more from the background and gives it some depth, which I personally prefer, but the idea, concept and execution is top notch again Diana!!!

I suspect that there are a lot of us like that, and it complicates our responses to an image no end. I only realised when I had surgery on my left hand a few years ago how much I rely on it... I use tools, implements with my right hand (pen, knife, iron, scissors), but do everything else with my left hand. So I guess people like johnnyboy and me are always going to be caught wavering.
Moira
Wonderfully subtle, no idea which I prefer as I flip between them. She looks gorgeous.
Well I've had a good time tossing her from side to side (sorry Pheobe) and this is a totally stunning photograph. My preference is for your first orientation but with Tim's extra shadow and shading on the crate and her lovely legs.
But what a great image to start with, you could play around with this and come up with a dozen brilliant pictures.

Depends what you mean by 'right', you would have to tell us what you were trying to achieve. You mention what you did but not why.
You have asked for a crit, but it's difficult with an image like this if we don't know your intention. As it stands all I can say is whether I like it or not, I do.
Martin
thank you
She hasn’t got tights on, her legs are naked...just a leotard and big shoes
but to dampen down some of the redness in her (bare) knees I added another layer, filled it with white paint ! (how clever is that for me
) ahem !
only cos I didn't know how else to get rid of the redness
then brushed her out of that painty layer (with a mask) but I liked the overall milky effect the white painty layer offered
I'll stick the original up tonight when I finish work !
that left/right thing .....I dont know if it always applies to images like it might do to text..... I am right handed but shoot with my left eye....!
are you going to put bees on her knees Eric?
First of all, congratulations on all your awards on your 's i l e n c e (e d)' upload, Diana - that's amazing!
Great set, think between V1 & V2, V2 gets my vote, but think the hands and legs stand out better from the background on V3!
