It was along time since these bottles was used for milkdeliveries. Now painted and put out for sing, I just had to take a stop to take pictures of them

Excellent find, Peter, the colours look so good in that light and against the blue sky.

Growing up on a farm Peter, my grandfather would get up before sunrise, and go milk the cows. We put the milk in these large milk cans and set them in a covered area by the road - they got picked up and the dairy left as many empty ones as we had full ones so we could start the cycle over again next day - a nostalgic image.
