A well captured shot I love the warm colours. Sue

Decent winter sunset with a lot of grain. Actually the grittiness is quite effective giving a textured feel. Was it intentional, or did you use a very high ISO.

Very nice light Roger.Grin With the right light you can really go places.

The trees are lovely, especially the feathery branches at the top. The composition could be improved by focussing on a few of the trees if it is possible rather than having a band going right across the pic. It helps to provide a clear focus for the pic which your eye can rest on.

I am not sure whether the grain was added or is the result of a long exposure. Either way I think it detracts from the photo. You have that lovely soft light and the grain adds a harshness. I have uploaded a mod for you where I have softened the grain with my Topaz noise software.

Best wishes

Catherine

The colours and compostion attracted me to this beautiful photo. I agree with above, slight distraction with the grain, I would love to see the modification. Krystal

Do you mean my mod, Krystal? If so click on "modifications" below the pic and you will see a thumbnail which you can open with a double click.

I like both before and after photos. The first one could almost be used as an old style photo with a little more grain or scratchy effects to it. Also like the modification with its nice clean look.
