About Me
I have been into photography since I had my first SLR in my mid teens and here I am in my mid-forties and still lovin it.
I tentatively turned up at my local camera club two or three years ago and since then I've hardly missed attending. It renewed my passion, made me strive to take better pictures, gave me confidence to experiment with my pics, and best of all introduced me to a group of people who were happy to share their knowledge and their friendship.
I only had a compact digital camera at the time and was a bit worried this would be too limiting but I learned how to get the best shots from it and even managed to win a couple of competitions with pics taken on it, so you don't need expensive equipment to get good results.
I have moved on to a DSLR now, but the compact is still never very far from reach.
Hope you enjoy looking at my pics.
