After doing some other stuff I am back to you show you my last shot from this series of digital infra-red with a filter over conversion of ones camera one should realize a problem is the Hoya D72 filter makes means basically you focusing judging the distance by feel not by allowing yourself to judge the distance as it becomes almost impossible to see thought the DSLR.
Like the previous infra-red shots this was captured using to see what clouds would look so I used I still need the Pentax 18-55 mm with the Silk Able 300 dx tripod, Pentax Cable Release and the Hoya R72 Filter (the infra-red Filter.)
Now the stuff once back at my notebook for POST PRODUCTION:
- Open the RAW capture in Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2
- Using the Channel Mixer the Red Channel to 0 leaving the Green alone and Blue to 100
- Using the Channel Mixer the Blue Channel to 0 leaving the Green alone and Red to 100
- Saved in Adobe Photoshop default format
- Closed the file in Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2
- Open the Photoshop file in Adobe Photoshop Elements 7
- Under Auto Level Command
- Resized to 600 pixels x ?
- Used the UNSHARP MASK to allow for some sharpness to the illustration
- Saved in JPEG for upload to this site.
What’s up next I have no idea as today was far to cold to go for a walk which I was planning on doing some photography in my area of Hamilton, Ontario and hopefully tomorrow will be better so can see what up that.
