About the ship it's home port Kristiansand, Norway and one of the eventís most magnificent tall ships, the 57 meter and is the oldest full rigged ship in the world still in operation. Built in 1927 as a merchant marine training ship, Sorlandet now offers students learning experiences aboard the ship through the Canadian sail training institution Class Afloat.

The post processing opened in Camera-in-the-RAW and corrected the colour balance, and from their opened in the full Adobe Photoshop Elements 7, and resized to 600 x ? px and applied the UNSHARP MASK till it looked sharp and then saved as JPEG image for upload to this GALLERY.

Great that this ship has been preserved and is still being used as a training ship, as are so many of these tall ships some of which we saw in 2011 at Greenock, Scotland, during the Tall Ships event.
