I like the way you have shown the steps taken to produce the final output, but would prefer the picture not to have had a frame, so version 5 would be my choice. Its eems the processing from colour to black and white seems to have enhanced the detail in the stone as well as the foreground. Perhaps the finished product could have been improved by a larger number of bracketed pictures in the first place?
Still a good picture and a well presented and informative selection.
