I love the scene you found - your photo is a lovely shot. Not much that someone can do to this but here is what I tried:
I added a slight crop & added the graduated ND filter effect to darken the sky a touch, then gave it a slight sharpen.

I will agree with Pamelajean that I like the bench in the foreground. The decor of it make it pleasant up from with a beautiful BG of color and light. The scene and lighting are incredible. I liked PJ modified versions but really like what you had first presented. The question you need to ask yourself is "what am I trying to convey to my viewer" I think you did that and it turned out great. This photo actually deserves much more positive attention in my book!
