Its a good location for this style !

Maybe just a bit of cropping and contrast (levels) was all that's needed.

The uploaded mod is much better. A good shot and good idea let down by a less than perfect mono conversion. Is her face sharp - not sure, and it should be. A strong idea.

Thanks for the uploading the mod it looks much better. Could I ask how you were able to achieve the much better tones? I like messing around with mono and I'm always looking for ways to improve, the face even looks much sharper in the mod,
