Cracking photo. Makes me want to dig the camera out, dust it down and get snapping again! By: Greyheron |
Beautiful, yes, but not serene, thanks to the noisy geese! By: Tony_M |
Another one, or did he come back for more? Good colour and detail. By: Terry L |
Much prefer this expansive view - thanks for sharing By: wolfy |
Many thanks for all your comments By: Tony_M |
Fine as it is, but I agree that a little extra mid-range brightness would lift it without spoiling the mood. The flowing water has turned out very well. By: catherinekp79 |
Nicely seen opportunity in the bright light. I find that if I crop the top just above the nearest tree line you get a stronger composition. By: howemick |
Nice series of this endearing animal. Glad to see they're still doing well at the BWC. By: rogerfry |
Spotted Flycatcher collecting nesting material I can almost hear it thinking "That'll do nicely"! By: rmccombe |
I've no idea what techniques you've used to present this image, but I really like the end result. The large version rewards closer inspection. By: mlseawell |
Great subject, although the top step is so bright your subject almost appears to be floating in mid-air. By: AndrewAlbert |
Thanks for looking By: Tony_M |
Mmmm..... tasty By: Tooth |
I've seen similar shot with robins before, but not a squirrel. Whatever next?! By: Greyheron |
Didn't know you could get in with them now. Looks like you had a fun day. By: Terry L |
Good timing to catch the slug at lunch, and very well lit too By: Greyheron |
Thanks for the comments By: Tony_M |
Good composition and focus, now with better colours! By: bricurtis |
Nice choice of detail and selective focus. By: pdove |
Silhouette of Roseberry Topping. I like the different take on this popular subject, though personally I'd frame it without the tree blowing around on the left. By: jocneilson |
The way to the bottom is to follow the path down to the wooden bridge, then hike up the bank / through the stream, although there may have been less water when I did it. There's also a car park just 5min from this viewpoint! By: pulsar69 |
No problem with focus or DOF on either of these, and the lighting is good too. My only suggestion would be to show a bit more of the surroundings, particularly the base, to enhance the location of the shroom. By: steve_eb |
Lots of interesting detail throughout this windswept landscape. By: Morgs |
