Taken on my recent trip to the Eden Valley, just outside of the Lake District.
I loved the light which I thought brought the scene to life.

Exposure: 1/30s @ F20 ISO 100

All comments and criticisms welcome and appreciated.

Thankyou for looking.

Very nice shot Tony. Like all the receding layers going back into the shot. Might have been tempted to try a lower f number to throw the background out of focus a bit to add some depth. Might also lose the half a tree on the left to balance the shot up a bit.
Oh my god! Sounds like I'm trashing this shot Smile
Only suggestions and not meant to take anything away from a good. solid landscape shot.

Hi Paul,
Thanks for the comments.
Take your point on the far hillside but as the hill is suffering from heat haze I thought it was sufficiently different already. The image shown is a crop of the original. I thought of cropping the LH tree out all together but thought it would put the chapel too near the LH edge. I'd post the original for you to play about with but my E2 membership has just come to a sudden and unexpected end. Not sure whether to renew or not.
