Saltburn sunrise #2

Saltburn sunrise #2 by YorkshireSam

People have a tendancy to really over cook sunrise/sunsets, nice to see you got this just about right. I like to see what the eye sees. Tony

Stunningly beautiful creature. Where was this taken at? (if you don't mind me asking) WHF in Kent is also a superb place for big cats.

You can't fault the visitors for wanting a natural shower. The beauty of the place translated in this awesome shot. Excellent exposure, nice one.

Lovely pin sharp shot with a nice uncluttered background.

What an awesome shot but clone out the dodgy plasters ceiling on the LHS, once you notice it, it catches the eye. That said though it is still beautiful.

'Johnny Ban'

I love B&W if it is done well and here is a very good example. Nice one.

Three Sisters

Three Sisters by Sue_R

I came home via the A82 last week and stayed overnight in the car at the car park oposite these 3 ladies. Absolutely awesome place and a mecca for photographers and walkers. The clouds were so low at 4.00am it was eerie and I had to stitch together a 3 shot panorama to get all 3 in. You have done these ladies proud, excellent shot.

Kingfisher

I have yet to see a Kingfisher in real life never mind get a shot like this, spot on.

Whitby Harbour

I normally dislike lens flare on images but this one sets it off nicely. Well done.

Stitchwort

Stitchwort by MandyD

Not sure if this is down to movement by wind or just a shallow DOF field but you have nailed this one perfectly.

Soft

Soft by ZanetaFrenn

What an absolutely stunning shot.
I see what Joline means though, where the girls hand touches the wood is very sharp, just above her left shoulder it is heavily blurred before and after her hands. I think it is just the way the DOF is showing the focus point, its probably the shadow effect causing this.

Goldfinch landing sequence

Well you have got this one spot on, hope they look as sharp at 100% as they do here. Definite sale to a magazine if so.

I love the irony of the title, but it's true. Nice contrast.

Simple silhouette that works very well.
