Thank you very much for the EC and User Awards on my last image.

This image is shot in the same building as the last one but with a new model, Colleen who Neal Shaw has used several times.

This is natural light coming though a frosted glass window and spot metered to get the high key look to the image. Use the 200 f2 lens again to pick out just the eye.

Light and airy once again Tony, and I do quite like the shallow depth of field here ..... just that little bit different which is nice.

I thought this might look good in mono, downloaded and tried it, but it does'nt. The colour adds warmth which I think the shot needs.

I'm not totally convinced about the large expanse of shoulder though try as I might I could'nt find a more satisfying crop.

Hi Dave

I also did both last night and felt the same, but i just love the ;light and expression on her face and can not stop looking at it.
Difficault lighting on a VERY dull and over cast Sunday morning here in the Midlands but i dont think you would know that from this image.

Thanks
Tony

For me, the "expanse" of shoulder actually adds impact and conveys the posture that her expression suggests. The crop is right and the light is beautiful, as is the model - great image!!

Love the rendering of this....soft, warm, inviting and alluring....its lovely light, regardless of the light you had to work with....almost like a sky sized softbox....beautiful stuff and a really arresting image....wonderfully done, as ever Tony....

The shallow DOF is awesome in this shot. My eyes are drawn right into hers. Beautiful model and capture. I'm thinking a square crop might also work, but love it like it is.

Liking this airy almost high key feel Tony.

Have a question though.

My brain wants to sort out the plane of diffusion.

Is the fact that the nearest point (the shoulder) is diffused because of the really wide ap you used or did you use a global glow filter and "pull back" selective sharpness ?

Not a crit , the effect either way is cool !

Hi Dave

its the f2 and compression from the 200mm lens that gives that effect. it gives a different effect when you are further away but used close up it really works well.

Thank you all very much for your clicks and comments.

Tony
