Like the image, the timing is really good, real action shot

Wow, thats so vibrant! What a superb capture, but the processing has made the subject REALLY stand out from the waves....superbly done Tony, really very good indeed!

Thanks for the feedback, it looks fine on my calibrated monitor?
Granted it was shot on a VERY overcast day so some sparkle from the sun may be missing for some, but for me those are the best conditions so you dont blow the highlites in the water which will happen on a bright and sunny day.
Catch 22 for me i think, but i prefer the depth that the overcast day gives for sports pictures, as you know from the day we had out on a rally, those are the best conditions for my style of sports pictures.

basically on the side of the lake but about five feet higher up a back so mim slightly looking down on him to also remove much of the background.
