In the Courtenay River delta this summer there is an ongoing Canada goose convention. The first in the last five years. We get a resident population of trumpeter swans in the winter time and that is normal enough. This Canada goose is new and different for this area however.

Thibk most of them came over here Tony. I would have cropped out the guys head on the left... Just my view.

We've had them here nearly every day Tony. A couple of loons out in the water today.

I would have cloned that out, but I am an unrepentant tinkerer.

Nice in flight shot.

Thanks, Very warm summer days. I will save cloning effort for more worthy images, though there is a little feather detail. The Canon high quality Jpeg seems to make better detail than medium quality Jpeg. TG

Great inflight capture Tony, we have them flying over the house as there is a population on the Fishing lake behind our house, I can see what what is being said about cloneing the head out, but on the other hand it is a bit quirky, which I kinda like, for me with or with out I really like this imageSmile
