Not for the squeamish. I have been around blue herons for years and never saw this before. Interesting as I thought they were very discreet about personal matters. This one may not be well...stomach trouble? You could win a bet at your local pub. Do they ever while aloft? or...are the legs spread or not while breaking FAA regulations. This image is all the proof you need to collect. Pity the ducks and birds below in Lazo swamp, Comox, B.C.
