Woodpecker is very relaxed and tolerant of the snoopy lens. After this photo, he calmly groomed himself stretching every which way.

Ju, I found him visiting a holly tree on a friend's farm here near Courtney / Comox, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. I think he is a sap sucker, hooked on holly tree sap, but I will look it up soon. Being a procrastinator, there may be a time laps before I certify his identity. If a birder beats me to it here in the comments, I will be grateful. TG
