A quick ride over Dartmoor last Sunday and I saw this view, although I have lived quite close to this Church for many years I have never photographed it. As always, comments welcome.
Here is a Dinghy that has been stranded at Tidmore Point since the Winter storms and it looks like Nature has reclaimed her. A straight shot, no filtration needed and very little PP. Here is a B&W shot also because I thought it may look good in mono. As always, comments welcome.
Here's a pretty much straight shot of Huckworthy Bridge at Burrator Reservoir on Dartmoor, hand held, no filtration and very little PP. As always, comments welcome.
Nice weather yesterday so I took a ride oover Dartmoor to shoot a valley I have had on my list for ages. Travelling light though so it was the zoom I used. And this is how I got there. I know, its a chore but somebody has to keep these old bikes alive. :D As always, comments welco...
Another walk in Tavistock this weekend to try to improve on the shot of the Salmon Weir. This time on a tripod with some filtration. Also a shot of the statue of Francis 7th Duke of Bedford that is outside the old Town Hall and Police Station. As always, comments welcome.
Early morning in Tavistock, Devon on a rather grey day I noticed the way this Union Flag was hanging with all the other diagonals seemingly repeating. As always, comments welcome.
Some gloriaous sunshine and clouds were around while I was passing the old village of Postbridge on Dartmoor. This is a shot of the bridges new and old which I got just before they were mobbed by 2 coachloads of German tourists. Just lucky I guess. As always, comments welcome.
Just the one again this week, Plymouth Sound. As always, comments welcome.
Just the one this week, work and weather kept me indoors most of this week but I spied this Church while out yesterday. I had to wait ages for the sun to break through the rain clouds and light up the Church. As always, comments welcome.
Another series of shots for this week's entry. I was on a work trip to York this week and had chance to get around the city in the evenings when there was some nice weather. Here are the shots; The Minster The River Boats Station Road Bridge The River Ouze ...
This week's entry is a series of shots. While waiting for some work to be done on my car I went on a photowalk along the River Tavy in Tavistock (Devon) and these are some of the shots I got. The river bank is established for walking along and even has "street lighting" for an evening stro...
This week has seen some realy nice weather so I had more than 1 contender but this is the chosen one, the Chapel in Tavistock Cemetery. As always, comments welcome.
This week we had some good weather for a change and this rather heavily pregnant Dartmoor Pony asked me to take her photograph. I obliged. As always, comments welcome.
This week has seen some very varied weather including some really warm sunshine, however, I have not been able to get out of the office to enjoy it so this week's shot had to be done on Saturday afternoon, whatever the weather. So here it is, a shot of the Clapper Bridge at Postbridge on Dartmoor, s...
I was up the Cheddar Gorge on Wednesday and it was draped in low cloud and mist, then just after midday it cleared and I saw this Copse. As always, comments welcome.
