This was taken whilst i was staying up in Northumberland. I personally like the picture and i hope you do. I have cropped it, but i am also allowing modifications to see if it can be improved at all. Any other tips or comments would be appreciated.
I do recall having a polariser on the camera, but as i did not have much time to take the shot, it may not have been set correctly.

A little fill-in flash and a tighter crop could have worked wonders here, I think, but it's a nice capture of a lovely dog.
