At the end of our coach trip around Loch Riddon we arrived here at Tighnabruaich. There's not a lot to see here, and being Boxing Day, was very quiet. I was attracted by the waves splashing up, so after taking V1, walked down the slipway to try to get a closer view, and despite the fact a wave came over the wall drenching me down the right side, I felt pleased that I'd got a great shot. However, when I got home and viewed it on the computer screen I realised that whilst getting soaked had synchronised with pressing the shutter, it caused me to jerk the camera and was blurred!
Despite it not being the great shot I'd hoped for, thought I'd include it as V2.

If you are looking for sympathy on the point of the soaking then you are in the wrong place, trev![]()

However, as far as these images go, you were in the right place. A dull, overcast, somewhat miserable day weather-wise has been expertly treated by you, and I buy you a virtual pint.![]()

I am very taken by V1, Trev. While it lacks the sense of an impending soaking it is very strongly atmospheric. When in doubt I stay away from the water, and I do a good bit of doubt!

The things we do to suffer for our art Trev.
On a photo shoot last Summer,I tipped a whole pint of Guinness all down my front !!
I confess I had a few pints beforehand and my vision was quite blurred !!
Good shots.
