This one is for my son Lee (Taulath) link Lee, who had his Birthday over the weekend, and I would so much have enjoyed his company at this lovely night shoot, it was a great event, lots of nice people and some good local beer. It was such a shame I could not be with him on his special day, so Happy Birthday xx
Many thanks for the comments and clicks on Taking the Pith, so many chuckles especially over the title. I have been so busy with all the autumn fruit, which has kept me away from the site for a while, I will try to catch up with you all soon.
Linda
Many thanks for the award Ian

This is something else. very special indeed.
My award gos to you on this image because of the imagination needed to achieve such a great image, well done.
Ian.
with an image like this I am surprised mine is the only award you got.
I can clearly see this took some good work and time to achieve such a good image, I personally love it and think it deserves more recognition.
Ian
I like it too great use of light a real inspirational shot! I think a flash would have lost it all, will take some beating on my short list. Chen.
We have some of these at New Jalpaiguri to Darjeeling meter gauge track as heritage train. But not maintained so immaculately.
A superb night time shot, well done! And a belated Happy Birthday Lee!

A cracking capture, Linda, excellently processed too, to bring out the detail in what must have been taken in tricky lighting
One for the favourites...

A stunning night-time shot, Linda. It almost seems to be 3-D, leaping off the screen.
