The longest day by fazzer

The longest day

Excellent sunburst on this classic shot of the Great Ridge. I bet you had it all to yourself too,no jostling for position at the gate at this ungodly time in the morning !! Even the sheep look surprised to see you.
Thanks for showing us sleepy togs where the summer sun rises Jeremy don't think I'l ever see it rise on that side of the ridge, would make for an interesting gate pic though Grin. Have a badge of honour for effort and comp of course, I'm guessing the exif data shows it was taken at 4.50am............ish GrinGrin

The ledge by Trevhas

The ledge

Thanks Nathan and keith for your comments and thanks also to Alun and Jeremy for your kind words regarding my processing efforts. Well chuffed for those comments GrinGrin as i never use the Historygraph on the back of the camera nor do i use the layers in Photoshop Blush. I process the image like i would from an negative, using the burn and dodge tool mostly and if i mess up it goes in the Trash ( i have a 27inch iMac ) and start again !! WinkWink

Yeah it changes really quickly up there Ryan, i think this was my fourth or fifth visit within 10 days trying to capture a decent sunset, you know the ones, the glorious red and pink ones that look too good to be true WinkWinkWink.
Its time to move on.............the cotton grass is growing in places it didn't grow last year so thats been holding my attention these last few outings.................i hope you're partial to a bit of cotton grass ? WinkWink

The Tower by fazzer

The Tower

Excellent processing, and comp of course on this one Jeremy. I do prefer the BW from IR, the IR is a little over the top for my liking (in my opinion).
Looks like the luminosity software has taken this pic to another level, it works a treat and looks fantastic, don't enter this in the IGPOTY competition !!!....you need to give someone else a chance WinkWinkWink

What Cloud ? by Trevhas

What Cloud ?

No brolly, plastic Mac or raincoat Jeremy, just a large handkerchief. Wink
I thought it maybe one of the pins too, I will have another check but I reckon one of the pins could be overheating as it happened once before after rapid shooting over a short period.
