Winnats Pass Sunrise by Trevhas

Winnats Pass Sunrise

First time for me too Mick, we always used to scramble up the other side towards MamTor, I've been exploring Winnats and the opposite side to the Great ridge recently seeking out photo opportunities.

Olde Bridge by Trevhas

Olde Bridge

Thanks everyone for your comments and to Kurt for your UA, much appreciated as always.
It was a murky misty day, I was drawn by the shape of the trees suspending the bridge, its strong lines and reflections. I thought this would make a great mono and added a slight tint to create an olde feel to it .

The Commute by Trevhas

The Commute

Thanks everyone for your comments and for your patience with this series, these are the last pics from this part of the ridge GrinGrinGrinGrin and V1 has to be one of my favourites so far but i think there maybe a couple more up the trail which haven't been uploaded yet that are just as good.

It was an epic 'click and move' hike and i thoroughly enjoyed it, makes up for all those blank dull days, failed sunrises, sunsets, i could go on but i think you get the picture !!
..........or maybe not.

Swirls by Trevhas

Swirls

Thanks Isabel, George and Ryan.
The colour and light playing on the clouds was amazing Ryan but there was no direct sunlight as it was trapped behind cloud on the horizon so i had to rely on the wet trail for a bit of reflected light, lovely morning though so carried on walking, as you say one of the best views in the Peaks.

Relics At Dawn by BIGRY1

Relics At Dawn

Excellent colour and comp Ryan , i like how the bubbly purple cloud at the top helps to frame the golden light which balances nicely with the retreating surf.
Good Job !!.

What's the Rush ? by Trevhas

What's the Rush ?

Thanks Nathan and Martin.
Even the 600mm is not long enough on this moor Martin with these wild beasts, i had one Stag about 100m away and i slowly moved forward firing a couple of frames off just in case he bolted and as i'm looking through the viewfinder the Stag looks at me and begins to move towards me, fantastic was my first thought i'll get a better shot then i look round and i'm stood in the middle of the moor knee high in Heather and the Stag's getting closer, forget the shots i'm off !!!..............
