Express Delivery by Nigeve1

Express Delivery

Excellent shot !!!. These birds are quick and I would be chuffed to have this in my pf............I am a newbie bird tog but tried the 3d tracking for the first time last week ( only had the camera two years ) on Gannets and wasn't impressed. On closer inspection at 100% the images were slightly soft compared to images taken on the 9 point af so I used this and the manual pre focus technique for best results.
I too would be interested in what others think about the 3d tracking, ......... I think it favours larger subjects in the viewfinder although it allowed me to shoot giving the impression that all was well and in focus but as I say, on the computer the images were soft !!

All Wound Up

Thanks everyone for your comments. I thought I'd try something a little different and use the 70-300mm lens for a change, since the good light is either too early or too late for me !.
