Thanks for yesterdays comments of encouragement on 'Sunrise Spectacular', a special thankyou to Mick for his U/A and to Marc (march103). It was a very productive morning.

That's a very pretty FG and I am a fan of wind movement in heather. Clever timing to get the barn halo'd by the gap in the clouds too; it makes an essential FP in your image which is otherwise cleverly simple and very effective. Smile

Thanks for your comments everyone and special thanks to Alan for spotting the gap in the cloud at the appropriate position (above the shelter). I'm glad i'm not the only one who thinks clouds are important and can either make or break a decent shot depending on the position, i have binned many a shot because clouds have been in the wrong place, become distracting or unbalances the shot, i like to think that most clouds in my pf are in the right place and compliment or enhance the subject.

Lovely light & super perspective. I like the slight movement in the heather suggesting a certain bleakness even in fine weather.
For me, I'd be inclined to clone out the vapour trail above the building but all in all a fabulous image.

cheers

A fantastic vista of the heather - no such luck tonight though. The millstones will be uploaded tomorrow

Cheers
